Just came back from Duxford and in the refurbished American Hangar there is a map of Europe with the location of each bombing mission by RAF and American aircraft from the beginning of WW2 to VE Day. It's like a wave!
They've also got a map of Northern America before and after 9/11 with respect to aircraft flying across the USA and it's like watching an ants nest!
