Title: SLA Charger (LX60B)
Post by: tizdaz on November 06, 2016, 04:25:46 pm
Hi guys

I already have this charger for my NiMH battery packs for my other hobby: https://www.wirelessmadness.com/fusion-lx60b-pro-elysium-ac-dc-multi-balance-charger-fs-lx60bp

The batterys im thinking of buying for my tugs are is 2 of these: http://www.componentshop.co.uk/12v-12ah-sealed-lead-acid-battery.html

The charger says it can charge upto 6 Cells for Lead Acid batterys, but as im a little bit of a "noob!" how many cells are in the 12v Gell Cell (12Ah) that im thinking of buying above please?

Would my charger be suitable for charging that battery?

Thanks

Each SLA cell is nominally 2 volts so 6 cells=12 volts so you will be OK.
