      can anybody tell me what uniforms the crews of the pbf swift boats wore and colours

We Brits called it Olive Drab.

Another designation was/is "jungle green" or was that just for Malaya or Korea maybe an American term ? My favourite was KD or "khaki drill" for mid east areas.

It might sound daft but I went to the Pacific in Olive Drab! The pyjamas though, were white silk! Very Noel Coward we thought!

  If that's an American in the first picture why is he wearing his beret the wrong way? Or, to put it in other words, the French way

Maybe it's back to front, French liason, what does it matter - he is on a Swift boat.
