Hi in new here, I'm from the torbay area and have made a few rc boat when I was younger and looking to get back to making one to enjoy with my sons. So I was just wondering if anyone could recommend any model boat magazines?  Also was just looking at Torbay and District Model Boat Club website and noticed that the website hasn't been updated in years so what to know if anyone knows if they still meet? Any info about clubs around the torbay area would be great

Hi Kirsin, welcome to mayhem :}   

Both magazines are good reads though I find model boats a bit more satisfying and they have a regular article on building small scale ship dioramas and sea scape sculpting so further widening the field of model ships.

I stand to be corrected but I think the closest clubs to you are Exeter Club meeting at Canonteign Falls or Plymouth meeting at the City Centre.  Both clubs have web sites.
