Title: Airfix Lifeboat R/C conversion
Post by: mikromodell on November 22, 2017, 06:44:07 am
Beginners start here...?

Ok, thats my very first topic, I will start *here* and  tell a little bit about me.

My name is Harry, I'm from Germany and my current project ist the Airfix 1:72 scale lifeboat. It's a really wonderful kit, and the prototype is it, too.
I'm looking for information, where has the prototype its exterior lights? The search engine found this forum, therefore I created my account.
Especially the rescue zones seems to have only one headlamp on each side, mounted on a movable beam. From my point of view I would await some more lights for this areas for illuminating the deck.

You can find more about me and my model ships (sorry, it's all in german language):

I looked again and yesterday I found what I was looking for. Yes, the Severn Class has lights for illuminating the rescue zone.
Regards
Harry
