I saw this today with its daughter boat on top..............
is it a bird, is it a plane, a submarine or the mother ship for deep space rescue............a lifeboat to the stars perhaps!!! %% %% %% %%
NO!....... its owned by a local council and is apparently taken around schools for children with learning difficulties to play in, as a sensory medium to stimulate their minds and thoughts..........
it was also apparently built by someone with amazing imagination and donated free to the council.
wish it had been round in my day when I was a teacher...................sod the kids, I'd have played in it all day, lol. {-) {-) {-) {-) {-)

Think it's a fine idea Neil,

Hi did some of it start off as a Robin Reliant Of Delboy fame?
Where I used to work 30+ years ago there was an old banger with the number plate DEL80Y. I oftened wondered if he was aware of the connection as you would not have given £50 for the car.

That is a fab idea! I agree about the award for generosity and effort as that isn't a simple job with some batten and gaffer tape. Lots of imagination and initiative has gone into that.

Love that concept!!!!! I wouldn't want to have to drive it though -I imagine it might need the HGV pump to fuel-up?
As a long time car modifier I appreciate the effort -but I also notice for all that they hung a rear plate on as an afterthought. Dooh!
Wonder what it's like inside? Hope the council can afford to keep it going!!

Being a bit of a misery guts I would imagine that the council will use it until it needs work then shove it around the back of somewhere and forget it due to budgetary constraints.
