What snags have you come up against? You didn't say. What is the problem with the trim tabs?

Hi John I’m gonna try and make them from scratch. It the size and how to fix them to the boat. Lee

Hi lee, I made mine from brass sheet, I also shaped 15mm brass angle to fit the stern at the tab position
Left and right, yes they will be handed. The tabs are 60mm long,45mm tapering to 35mm, deep.
Soldered to the shaped angle, 35mm goes to the inside.
I strengthened fixing positions to accept 10mm brass screws.
My trim tabs are fixed not moving.
You can make the tabs bigger if you want but the above are to scale.
Hope this helps.
