Title: BBQ TIME..........YIPEE

MY first BBQ in 3 years, the last 2 years was so crap that I never got to do any in 16/17..........but I think a little practice and a couple more beers is the order of the day...............it looked like a capital battleship making smoke and repositioning to take up the fight..............but patience won the day and it turned out nice again lol

good food..........

fine beer........

and a pooch to eat up the remnants..........what more could you want from a fine afternoon's Barbie.

got one left but it might be a bit cold........can do you some chicken marinade in honey and peppercorn mustard if you like.....

you know me mate.......you are welcome any time......was a snap decision this morning.......had to make my own kebabs as every where had run out........mass buying by macho blokes filling trolleys with dozens of packs, and shoving weak ladies aside......they'll have a lot going off tomorrow.....its going to pee it down for the next 4 days, then windy over the weekend lol.serve em all right.

Neil....from the land where the BBQ over warm glowing Charcoal was invented......those Kebabs look beautiful :P :P.....that's the sign of 2 please

I'll bring my own beer...[that pink stuff looks a little like Cherry Brandy]...and what's with white sausages?  :o

I hope this weekends barby goes well  :-))

Same here Neil, hadn't used it for a couple of years.

But fired it up today and sausages and chicken (and some salad!) went well with a couple of Badgers Poachers Choice.

Hopefully use it a bit more this year.

Maybe we didn't invent it, but we have refined it in to an art form of burnt snags and underdone steaks {-)  Lovely :-))  Did I mention cold beer as well O0

Neil being a part time OZ national probably taught his Wood Work students that ancient wood glues were made from melted down Emu nails ...and that this had been going on for 40,000 years

So it is well established that a culled Kangaroo or Krockadile strapped over some rocks with timber kindling underneath would attract the Lightning Gods.....who naturally would provide the lightning bolt to ignite the kindling & hence the first BBQ & Oven in the time of mankind
