Title: Balne Moor MBC Tugs and Navy Day

Hi folks,

As the title suggests Balne Moor MBC will hold a tugs and navy day on Sunday 27 May.

Whether you have a destroyer, a pusher tug or whatever, you will be welcome.  There will be navigation courses for tug towing and for different classes of scale boats.  As usual at Balne Moor you can borrow a tug to have a go.

The action will start at about 10.30 and catering will be available all day.

 Greetings Mike and Poll,
       I can't make it this weekend but hope to get to the Doncaster show on 2nd of June. Unfortunately I have to stay out of the sun for 3 weeks (I'll explain when I see you at the show) so no sailing/crashing for a while. I hope you get good weather and little wind.

well guys you did it again a great day even better as it was the first time i have sailed this year  the sun was out all day and the water was cool when i had a paddle till the next time guys thanks

Refurbished Oil Rig goes back in the pond.  Thanks to Andy and Steve.  More photos of the day later :-))

  Hi Mike,
       Nice job on the Oil rig looking good. Looks like you have the same hot weather as we have in Southport unfortunately its very humid and energy sapping here. Hope to see you all at Doncaster Saturday.

Hello Pete,

Yes, the oil rig was refurbished by Andy Kelley, or Ned as he is known to Tess :}


The day did develop into perfect sailing weather, just a sneaky wind in the morning which made things interesting for a while. I managed to strip a prop >:-o .  I'll post a few more photos later.
 
Yes, there will be a few of us on the stand at CADMA, will catch up then :-))
