Title: Steam Launch
Post by: Baldrick on June 30, 2018, 02:11:30 pm

Myford lathes have come into the possession of a couple of steam launches (for sale)   one is a paddler , one stern screw. they both seem to be very well engineered . In one their is a nameplate Ivor Birtles(?) March 2003 . Does anyone have any knowledge of the builder ?

Hi Callin,
Well spotted, if you go to the site and click on the download in making figures, there is a pic of the steam plant as shown on Baldrics original post post.

There's a video of the steam boat here:

Baldrick, do you have more pictures of the steam boats?

If they are for sale now, one can wonder what happened to the builder?
