To me it looks like maybe its a camera with infra red or laser range finder, but I'm open to suggestions. It also pivots 360 degrees - I have it facing other directions on photos.

At a guess it's a Thermal and Night Vision Camera system.

I think you have already called it.

Infrared night vision camera on the right, and Laser range finder on the left.

nahhh…………..it's the latest in selfie cameras on Kim Kardashions' yacht...…….just installed for her 400 a day habit, bought by Kanya West, her doting if somewhat deranged hubby...………… {-) {-) %% %% %%
