i was by the mersey today  and spotted this being launched  sorry about quallity  only  had phone camera ,use size  thingy to enlarge,i took a video but  needs  to be shortened to post

I am not sure if it was intentional, but this image definitely has a face. A rather Viking one.
It is nice to see a ship being launched on the Mersey.

I was down there just by pure chance on a college 50th anniversary reunion that evening, and I and my friends went down to the Albert dock and saw what was going on, so took some photos and video on my camera......will down load them this afternoon but don't think the video will come out as the sun was facing me at the time...…...but got a few shots and some from the stripey ferry...........Snowdrop I think she is called, as we took a trip on her as well...

The launch , she never moved ! ! the tug needed to 'snatch' her off the ramp , and then nearly got run over when the lines got tangled , he was giving it everything to get out of the way . . .
