hi members
as i not radio wise i thought about investing in the futaba twin stick for my 1/12 speedline tamar this would save having to convert my futaba 6ex fasst into twin sticks , which i could use for my new graunper bismark which will not have independant control of the three motors
i would value any thoughts by members on this subject

hi members
earlier enquiry may have found a cheaper option to the futaba tw-_in stick 14 navy transmitter and receiver this is a
ikonnik ka6_6 with twin centre sprung sticks complete with recevier the only drawback is that it is a dry cell unit but i could replace with rechargebles, i only need four functions for my lifeboat so it would do the job and at £60 not a bad buy

i have not come across this make before any thoughts would be appeciated
Thanks to all members for their time

Hi Howard, as you have probably discovered there is a lot of choice if you want a 4 channel set. If price is a big driver, Hobbyking do some low priced sets that will probably suit you at around half the price of the Ikonnik. (If you are new to Hobbyking, do make sure you are looking at the UK warehouse stock when browsing or you could end up ordering from the far east.). Although I don't know the Ikonnik set it looks suitable for what you need. It's rare to find RC equipment from a reputable supplier that fails to perform in some way, and if you tell the vendor your intended use you will usually get good advice on suitable kit.
Have fun

I can't stand twin sticks.
Too fiddly for my fat fingers.
On my F14 I have removed them and gone conventional.

I LOVE the twin sticks on my F14. :-)
It's 'horses for courses' of course, but it's an expensive step to take to find it's not your thing.
