Title: When sea conditions are too bad
Post by: Brian60 on October 31, 2018, 08:15:18 am
You carry on working!
I say working, it looks like they are pulling anchor leaders for a rig move - there is a wire chaser over the stern roller and just visible are the restricted manouvering lights on the mast, although I'm not too sure due to lack of colour, could be red over white over red (restricted manouvering) or 3 whites, towing over 200 metres in length.  Again its a bit too close in to the rig for towing which is why my first thought was anchor handling. It can't be that close in for deck operations to the rig in that sort of weather, no way could you lift  cargo in that!

Either way its a night not to be out on that deck!
