Title: Amati Riva Aquarama Italian Runabout
Post by: Pitpup1969 on November 22, 2018, 07:30:02 am
Hello all....New to this site but looking forward to being part of it. So to my first question. Are there any fellow builders of the Amati Riva Aquarama Italian Runabout ?. If so I'm looking for some advice on an alternative fit out for the boat to replace the Motor and Transmission kit offered by. Any advice on replacement motors, propellers, shafts, rudder ect.. ect. would be most welcome.

Hi ya and welcome to the forum - ukmike is your man for Riva advice.  Have a look at his build log its probably one of biggest and baddest Rivas in the country and there's a lot of general discussion about Rivas too.

You might find some of the references on this and other sites to the building of Dumas Chris Craft models to be of value, particularly when it comes to prep and varnishing.
The help that I have had has been invaluable :-)
