Hi
Im looking for advice on the type of doors on the dridge deck of HMS Leeds Castle .
Lower were six latch water tight though seems like upper were different

Hi thanks for the quick reply .
I have this image aswell as many others and still unsure.
Trying to balance out newbie building skills with accurate detail of the ship at one time in its life.
Hopefully i can figure out how to compress the images i have of the build so far and start a thread myself .

Hi there my memory serves me right I believe there was a double door on the bridge - the inner was a timber door with a glass window in which was used for calm days and so forth and there was a steel storm door which was closed during inclement weather and also obviously action stations. I spent three good days when she was on the Tyne and few year back and also I built a model of her which was sailed at the first Wickstead (that will tell you how old the model is / which is now in the hands of someone else / as I sold it on (I may just regret selling that model ) :-)

John ive came across your model image on a few internet searches before and it looks great .
