Just a quick run through for a building a steam plant for a Clyde Puffer that will be about 10inches overall and based on the Vital Spark drawing knocking about on the net
It did pinch a few ideas from Les Proper along the way
The engine is 1/4 bore and stroke singles acting and the boiler just a simple pot with a flue and the firing by good old meths

Bonjour Frazer,
What a powerful little steam plant ! 10" means 254 mm, perfect for a bathtub :-))
I can't wait to see her completed with a personal request, a little whistle ok2

Bonjour Rhavrane,
I think it maybe pushing it a bit to make a whistle for her and it would empty the wee boiler and the noise would be more like a cat with its dangley bits stuck in a vice
A bath tub model indeed and along with a small Rose will keep me out of mischief for a little while
Thanks for looking

Frazer,
Very nice, I have often heard it being said that an engine can have a nice bark from it, first time I have heard such a realistic bark.
Him north of Hadrian's wall.

Cheers George, the wee scalawags tearing up the garden or scattering the blackbirds
To cold North of the wall for this wimp
The twin is running in on air and just noodling out the boiler Im thinking of putting 6 2mm dia cross rods through the flue like you would using pipe but at this scale I think the pipe would burn through whilst if the rods do it wont matter
well thats my story and Im sticking to it for now.If this boiler doesna work the single will get to use it and I will make a simple water tubed horizontal one
