Title: Planet t/x system problem
Post by: ojays on February 27, 2019, 06:05:02 pm
I have 2 Planet T5 transmitters and several Planet receivers.
I recently purchased a R4Ms receiver, but cannot get it to bind with either
of my transmitters.
Can anyone inform me if they're compatible with the T5 transmitters please.

Regards
Gregg

They should be, as planet only did the T5 and T7 sets.
While on the subject, check out the new Planet T2+2 sets, designed for boats (mainly) from the outset. Two traditional sticks for throttle and rudder, plus a three position switch and proportional dial for channels 3 and 4. Dual rate options on both throttle and rudder channels, nice touch.
Only gripes, no throttle ratchet option built in and not backwards compatible with older Planet stuff. Probably only related by name, not factory, so to be expected.

Thanks for the info.
I had seen the new planet stuff but already have an assortment of receivers.
Bought the R4M from e bay, seller accepting it back as I can't get it to bind to either of my transmitters.

Thanks again.

Not Planet, but I had a problem with a RadioLink that wouldn't bind - it was resolved by looking closer at the (same model number) case and realising that they had reversed the channel numbers. >>:-(
