hi, I just purchased a 6 foot long wooden made PT boat. There is a single prop, but no motor. This is a large boat which needs a good motor to push it along. What would be the best motor to fit. The only motors I have seen have been small jobs. Is there anything that will not cost the earth and will work well. Thanks, terry

I run a 5' S-Boot on 1 Brushless Turnigy 3648 1450kv which cost about £25 that replaced 3 motors
-
Hi, what’s the name of the motor, thanks.

I replaced 3 x 850's with One Turnigy 3648 1450kv outrunner operating on a 3s lipo you can see the whole discussion here. The motor at that time was only available in Oz from hobbyking and a member there kindly got it for me there should be others of similar spec
