What sort of speed can the model manage?

The Wife and I had a great time in the P.O mess, they would not let us pay for any of the drinks or food. great bunch of blokes. :-)) :-))

All plans are in place, yet to to be tested though. currant speed on a straight line trial this sunday was average 4 mph, she carries two 12V batteries, one for the power, the other helps with ballast, but once battery 1 runs down the 2nd will be connected up to carry on, bit like having a quick pit stop. ;)

What a fantastic model, thanks for sharing.

Wow. What are her dimensions? Will she fit in Mini? :} Seriously... she must require some handling arrangements.A spectacular model.

Thanks for all the interest, i havent been around her for to long but every time i take the controls i feel rather chuffed,
size data.
length 12 feet 3 inches
beam 1 feet 5 1/2 incnes
draught 8 inches
yes it takes some putting together before putting her on the water, the hull is in two parts requiring a few bolts to hold it together, the super structure is in about 6 extra boxes..
