Title: First build - Green Parrott

Hello,


I have just ordered a Green Parrott kit from Deans. My boat building experience to date has been limited to light restoration work (mostly installing electronics) in a few models and construction of a  "Variant" barge from Mobile Marine, so this will be my first full build of a powered model.


Does anyone have experience of building this model and any hints and tips please?


I am looking forward to getting started and any advice would be gratefully received.
