I am after your thought/opinions on products to use over enamels humbrols to use as a varnish coat to allow for weathering and application of decals which in turn could then be matt coted?
In abit of a quandary on this one as there are so many views and thoughts.
Any help greatly appreciated.
OH and its a static build so can be water soluble.

If you don't mind me saying you have answered you own question. Humbrol paints Humbrol clear cote varnish if you are applying waterslide decals a cote of gloss cote varnish first then the decal then the final varnish of your choice. By applying the gloss varnish this will make the decal backing paper disappear then you can apply the final finish. If this seems like telling granny how to suck eggs I do apologise.
