Hi hoping I can strike lucky, did put this on want and swaps but thought might get more luck here.
I am looking for someone who has the Jecobin plans hopefully at 1/96 of Hermes, not after the whole plan (unless they no longer need them :} ) What I am looking for is a copy of the plans showing the fui antennae located on the Port forward 1/4, as shown in the image. Need to make this for Queen Elizabeth, and having made it before it is hard, took over a week to built compared to a day and half for Tigers lattice mast. Trinity do the supplement sheets but only show a generic image and no listing of what's on each sheet, so fingers crossed.

I reckon that could be scaled up from the photo.
Will it be removable for transport, as that will be a knock magnet {:-{
-
Was it ever fitted to Victorious?
-
No never, as I have her plans and the excellent book I had hoped that would be the answer, but sadly no :((

The original image was small so had to be tweaked, but you may be right a good estimate might be needed. Having built it for my Hermes years ago, the only movement was as in the 1/1 i.e. it could be swung inboard and secured by tie rods, other than that it was fixed, but time move on and I am a bit wiser, so yes it will be removed, even though QE has a travel box certain items are made removeable such as the deck landing light system, all unplugs, but no matter knocks will occur,.

Hi Chris
Yes please mate :-)) :-))
Bob

Same plans as these :-))
Wouldn't think they look much bigger and other than it being a 4 legged frame could easily be superimposed to design it off the Victorious one
-
Warspite, thanks for taking time to scan those, from the anatomy I think. Might be the way to go with a bit of tweaking, or maybe freehand, at least having built it once I have a fair idea of what I am after

Their just Photo's, was not sure if they are whats wanted, I could scan if you want so they are clearer.

Hi there, just a thought - have you ever thought of contacting John Haynes to see if he has any drawings - as he has built this model at 1:96 scale - there are photographs of his build in his portfolio on his website - and I have nicked one of his photographs and I hope he doesn't mind :-) is this what you are after?

Still looking folks, John Haynes plans went with a lot of his stuff to Peter Simpson, so still in the market.

Hi Bob
All still not lost yet - Paul Simpson - one of the original owners of Sirmar, Hulls and fittings - has the mould for HMS Hermes, I believe, and I am thinking this is the one John Haynes used, and now Sirmar is owned by a gentleman called Barry. Barry still runs Sirmar albeit at a reduced capacity as he also has a full time job. If you ring him between the hours of 4 p.m. and say 7.30 p.m. on an evening you will more than likely catch him. He will be able to say whether he has plans, drawings etc to go with the hull. I see that it is still on his site. (The hull for Hermes that is).

Thanks for that hint, yes he also has the 3d printed bridge for her which looks good, would love to build her again but with two carriers on the go might be a bit much. Will keep you posted.
