Title: source for very thin plywood.
Post by: Baldrick on December 13, 2020, 12:13:33 pm
A while back with the Topaz kit their was some very thin (0.5 mm ) 3 ply plywood for the cabin roof.   What was left over I have found very useful for all sorts of things like bulwark linings etc. but I have now run out.   A web search is not coming up with anything similar . Does anyone know a possible source for this ?   It must be a specialist product, ?  cheers

SLEC sell it.

Really lovely stuff but it doesn't come cheap. I prefer it to plasticard.

The next size up 0.6mm is less expensive but the 0.4mm 1/64 is the bees knees.

It's nearly Christmas - buy both!

The Balsa Cabin also sell both thicknesses and their postage costs MAY be less than SLEC. They are near enough to me for me to collect :-))
