Have a look at Slaters plastics based in the UK. The do injection moulding letters in different sizes hope this helps.

Depends on ow big you need the letters, one source is "nail art decals" as in fingernails, they do really nice (smallish) letters in lots of colours.
How do I know ........my granddaughters use them and I pinch them.. :}

That's a great idea Phil! There's another example of group brain storming for you.
There are also letters etc in etched brass from Armati and Scalelink (Now Fret set or some similar name.)

Thanks guys going on research data about a foot/305 mm high on the real ship, slightly raised not chunky will look at etch and others great to see all this help coming together makes it 10 to 12 mm high in 24 scale really appreciated the assistance tassie48
