Morning all, someone asked if I could help giving a valuation of some boats and RC cars.
The most interesting one was this steam powered Graupner - Otto Lauffer.
.... anyone recognise the engine plant?

The engine looks like an early Chinese twin oscillator available from a well known online auction house for about £160. I have the same engine in a small River Tug and it runs very smoothly and well. I can’t tell which boiler though, hope this helps move the discussion on.

Martin,
It's a Graupner "2-Zylinder- Dampfmaschine" Order No 1940.

Postage will be difficult to Tasmania .... but if you want to buy me a holiday, I'll happily bring it over! O0
-
Hi Martin
E Bay's Global International Postage is cheaper than postage from Sydney to Hobart.
Also about the same time !!!
I received one from England in the same time as one from Sydney !!!
Three weeks with all that is going on !!

The Robbe ski jet on twin brushless is the scariest think I can imagine......how the hell can you think that fast and control it......awesome ....well I will leave that to a future brave soul O0

Hi Martin
Global International Postage is about 45/50 pounds which is a good price for a boat from England.
So you would miss out on a holiday !!!
If you are sent out from England to Tasmania, it's a one way trip !!!
I have been hear 200 Years and it was only a loaf of bread !!!
I would be interested in Robbie Jet Ski and the VW.

I can put you in touch if anyone wants to strike a deal ....
