Title: pic ESC for servo motors
Post by: Dainesh on August 09, 2021, 10:01:07 am
Hi Gewts,

I'm in a smaller project.
I have a 1/350 Trumpeter Viribus Unitis, and I was searching for small motors for it, until I saw the motors in the 9g micro servos.
I thought that I can use two servo motors to drive the two shafts from four.

I put the motors in with the controlling circuit and it was OK.

Now I would like to cotrol the both servo motors from the same signal, plus mix the left/right signal in it.

I'm curious how this worked out?
I'm guessing that these are continuous rotation servos?
Do they rotate fast enough to drive a small prop well ?

Hi when using standard servos as drive units it is usual to disconect the motor from the gearbox and drive a prop direct.  You are on new ground with this size servo.
Interested to know the outcome.
