When MTB Hulls starts up production again (fingers crossed) I'm considering ordering their Hunt-class hull in 72nd scale. I'd like to know what Mayhemers would recommend for plans and reference books.
I already have Friedman's "British Destroyers and Frigates: The Second World War and After"
I can borrow a copy of David Brown's "Atlantic Escorts"
I'm considering the Sarik plans, I can enlarge them by 133% at a copy shop
Beyond that I have no inkling of what is out there that would be helpful. :((

Depending on which ship you want ot build the drawings are available from the NMM at Greenwich, for referance material Britiah Naval Weapons of WW2 The John Lampert Collection Vol 1 Destroyer weapons this should be your start. There also many other books out there with other illustrations of Hunt class vessels and perhaps more books will be published of them when they being scrapped.
I have an almost complete set of drawings for HMS Badsworth apart from the hull lines, because I had bought a 1/72 hull from Sirmar which turned out to be twisted and hogged the shape of the stem was/is completly wrong making the model 1/2" shorter than it should be at that scale.

I'd also recommend getting HMS Cotswold from Neputunia Gallery (neptunia-hobbies.com) (http://neptunia-hobbies.com/gallery.html) see about 1/2 way down the page.
This and the drawings from National Maritime Museum (HMS Mendip) should be all you need :-) (although Cotswold and Mendip as Type 1 Hunt weren't quite the same.....) So it's all open to interpretation IMHO

Thank you all for the help! I should've mentioned that MTB's hull is a Type 3 (wide-beam), all of which had distinctly different superstructures from the Type 1 (but not so much from the Type II). I'll have to put a copy of the Lambert book on my birthday/Christmas list!
