Title: Drascombe.
Post by: Paul HD on October 16, 2021, 12:49:18 pm
Hi All,

Has anyone built, seen plans or a kit for a Drascombe Coaster or the very similar boat a Drascombe long boat cruiser?

Here is a link to the boat.  https://sailboatdata.com/sailboat/drascombe-coaster

Many thanks,
Paul.

That's an interesting ask !
The only kit model that springs to mind in a similar vein, was a 1980's? kit of the Cornish Crabber/Shrimper,
available in 2 sizes/scales - a small desk top model and larger 3 footer sailing version -
one of the first boat kits to use 'Lite Ply' in its simple hard chine construction,
sadly cannot remember who the British manufacturer was.

Googling 'Drascombe Coaster' brings up various plans / lines drawings under Images.

Paul.

Built by Honnor Marine.
Ther was also a smaller Drascombe
Lugger which I sailed in days of yore.
Good little seaboats.
