Title: Hms Intrepid
Post by: Klunk on January 09, 2022, 02:52:31 pm
Just went to the shed and got my part built HMS Intrepid out, with the intention of finishing her off.
Unfortunately, even though I had dusted the plans and put them in sealed plastic bags, with lavender paper outside, it didn't stop the mice!
So im after plans from the Sirmar?? Or fleetscale....not sure who made it!
Or a decent book. I believe the plans are from the 1978 refit.

If you can’t find any plans have a look at this:
Scroll down and there is a complete set of drawings of the Fearless which may help.

Hi Klunk,

I also have Fearless version part built based on SIMAR hull from 1990s stored in the loft, one day I may get back to finishing it.

The plans are from Jacobin, now Trinity Aries ( ***** expense these days)

No problem Pete. The annoying thing is I saw a set for sale on eBay a few weeks back but didn’t win them, should have bid higher and won but unfortunately didn’t. I’ve had a look through my plans for you just in case I did have a set that I had forgotten about but so far no luck.
