I will be at a stage in the next few days where I will be fitting the windows on my Shannon, ideally I would like to use thin double sided tape (Tamiya) but as you can see on the picture there is not much of a recess, I did not want to glue the windows in case I ever need to replace for any reason, any ideas what is best?
Thanks

You could try tacking in with Canopy glue

Thanks Rich, just done a search on the stuff and it looks to do just the job :-))

Just finished a load of Glazzing on my ferry. I used Gorila glue clear. Geart stuff.
As for double sided tape. You can get the clear stuff they use on moblie phone screens. Can be as thin as 1mm wide. Very good stuff.

One more question in the windows, in the decal pack I have two sets of black perimeter vinyl, one thick one thin, I would imaging the wider profile goes on the outside of the windows, but where does the narrow profile need to be fitted?

The wide one is to the inside.

Thanks Alan :-))

I have added some black liner to the window recess so no orange shows through when the glazing is fitted, needs a second coat though...

Looks fantastic :-))

In the end I used the Tamiya double sided tape which is micro thin, cut thin strips to place on all edges of the window and fixed in, they are rock solid and no danger of glue misting or staining...
