Hi Martin, I thought so but no. If you copy "webos tv um7 400 plb" and how to pug in headphones in google it turns up how to's but sorry Regiment, I got lost in it and why you can't just plug in a headphone into the socket for a headphone jack on the back next to the other connectors. Google says it has one on the back, but then talks about settings and I'm confused why it talks about Bluetooth if you just plug in headphones. My LG is non "smart" which I appreciate is terribly old hat these days.

My LG 49 4K Smart TV only has theAV sockets for line out. Headphones need to be Bluetooth as there is no Jack socket.

You should be able to plug the red and black ones (Males) into the line out sockets on the tv then the socket you plug your headphones into
You should be able to get similar from any tv shop like this

I know this may seem a pain, but the Bluetooth would make life easier if you set it up. No cables to mess around with, and once paired, you don't need to do it again.
Also if your computer has Bluetooth, you can play videos direct from your computer. Having a laptop makes it easier, as you can easily move it. Again, once paired to your tell, the job is done.
