Another lovely model, very well constructed, probably many years ago, but sadly found its way on the garage shelf and in the process lost o few of its parts.

Can you give us a clue to what part of the Universe you reside? and length a beam dimensions would be more helpful than a rule.
Regards Ian.

Don't know how you managed it Martin but it's a clever idea anyway (copy & paste maybe)?

Umoja is Swahili for unity. Also a suburb of Nairobi, a train ferry on Lake Victoria, and an all-woman village in Kenya. Anyone know the word in any other language?

Hi,
If you can't manipulate and cut-and-shut like Martin did an easy thing to do is to put a post-it note on the screen against the reference (i.e. ruler), mark a note at the end and multiply things out repositioning the post-it note. You don't need post-it notes, just a slip of paper, and if you know how long the reference is, you fold the paper to 1/2 then 1/4 etc. to get better measurements inbetween.
...Can't tell you how many times I've had to do this at work from photos provided and it works 95% of the time. As long as perspective is reasonable, many jobs get estimated, even done this way, even at the worksite in-person if it's terrible weather!
...Sorry Jukebox, can't help you with an ID but you did nothing wrong posting the pics with the ruler as reference!

Hi Fellas, I live in the southeast of England :-) Isle of Sheppey. Model measurements are about what Martin says. I picked up this model with several others recently purchased from another chap who also lives in Kent Uk.
Thanks for help so far ;)

Wasn't a dig John, but helps give an idea where we're looking.

Just seen this on an online auction site. I'm guessing they are Tourist type souvenir models. No other information with it. :o
