Looking for something different?
Canon have hundreds (thousands?) of designs that are designed to be printed by your printer and which make up into a vast variety of models. I have linked the limited model ships page but the index to the left has so many other designs. It is all free and there are instructions so why not have a go?

These are brilliant, have just spent half an hour printing off the grandchildren's stocking fillers (plus a couple for myself)
-
I hope that you enjoy them. There is a continual search for something to get kids interested in modelling and these might help. Having said that some look like really skilled and precise adult work.

Well done Tug :-))
-
Good find. Thank you. :-)) :-)) :-))
-
I have never done paper modelling before. What is the best adhesive to use ?
-
Pretty much anything works on paper.
Superglue is quickest
White (school) glue is cheapest
Hot glue sticks things on well
-
I have (well granddaughter and I ) used PVA that worked, I guess on what PVA though :-))
We did try superglue...and guess who had most of the model stuck to fingers.....
Yes ME
Back to PVA
-
I guess that schools today would use glue sticks (pritt stick)
-
More like Prat stick most of them would be sniffing it

Thanks Tug,
If anyone needs any reference shots for the Hikawa Maru PM me. It's permanently moored in Yokohama which is not far from my location.
