Hi Martin,
I'm asking this on behalf of my husband as his phone is playing up and when I passed your message on he said he was thinking of
a coble from Whitby/Flamborough.

Post by: Mike S on March 10, 2023, 05:59:08 pm: There is a plan for the coble Enterprise (Plan Ref. MM1040), available from the Sarik Hobbies website. The plan dates from the 1960's, although it is a Northumbrian Coble rather than a Yorkshire Coble, (the Northumbrian Coble has slightly finer lines).

The website tradboat2.co.uk has info. and pictures about Yorkshire cobles.

The Orion Mouldings coble hull is on my ever-lengthening list of future projects.

I hail from 'coble country' on the North East coast, and I'm attaching a couple of photos.

The Queens Arms pub in Cullercoats has a boat park attached with cobles (Northumbrian) parked up.
