Title: Wanted defunked RC Controller

I am building an Arduino 6 channel controller for my scratch built Tug.I need a two axis joystick but will buy complete controller so...Looking for a defunk controller for spares.

Should be plenty of cheap AM transmitters on flee bay. In the early days, when we built our own, Various open and closed gimble stick units were easily obtainable. SLEC were one supplier.

The Hall sensor version would by good for your digital project

Another option is to use an old computer game hand controller.
