Title: Darnell WH50 4R7 5% RESISTOR
Post by: TheLongBuild on June 24, 2023, 02:54:47 pm
So might anyone have a guess as to why a few years ago I bought 4 of these as I haven't got a clue !!! %% %%

The only thing I can think of is that at one point I was going to rig up an in car lead acid battery charger for the 12v 7 am batterys which some our guys at work had done  for something else which used this type of battery but honestly cN not remember how they did it.

In the past I used some of those large resistors to drain NiMH batteries down for charge cycling.
Care was needed as they can get very hot whilst discharging the battery.
I later bought decent battery cycling chargers to do the job.

Umm, no do not think that was it, have added the only thing I can think off, although in my mind there was a MMI plan wolverine which rings a bell, have to dig out the instructions.
