Title: Hemmens Max ll O-ring size (piston)

Dear all.

The piston rings on my Maxwell Hemmens Max ll engine have become a bit sticky and I am hoping to get some information on the size of these o-rings that are used as piston rings.

Further I am also looking for any kind of manuals that came with this engine such as exploded view, maintenance manual, parts list etc that might be helpful in keeping this beautiful engine running.

Mege.....you may be better also confirming the cylinder bore size, together piston OD and the o-ring cavity size in the piston

your are right, but I have not disassembled the Max ll yet as it still works.
I want to order the O-rings in advance so disassembly, reapir and reassebly can be done in one go.

I had to replace my O rings on a much smaller Puffin unit and was advised to use silicon rings which I did after failure with niton O rings which stuck solid.


Silicon work perfectly
