Title: In Memorium
Post by: Baldrick on July 04, 2023, 07:53:22 pm
Not noticed it before but the British Heart Foundation site on Ebay get a lot of Boxed unbuilt model ships kits for sale on their site.    Presume donated by those whose elderly relatives over estimated their futurity.  Must take stock of what I have on the shelf.

That's a wake up call, I have a vosper torpedo boat as well, the current one is languishing in a metal box rotting away since I haven't started its replacement, the one in the metal box was a test to see if I could make it work, but it submarined when going forward as it was still too heavy amidships, there is a thread on here somewhere.

Same here. I have a garage full of i/c and electric power boats when I only sail yachts now. Likewise a stash of about 30 i/c engines of the more commonly used racing sizes.  God knows what my wife would do with them if I fell off the perch suddenly.   A skip, I suspect.
