I am considering building a Deans Marine MTB about 850 mm long.
What set up would you recommend for decent performance on a single shaft.

Hi Bob
A Surpass Hobby C3542-1250kv( 3S lipo battery) car 60Amp ESC (about 13800 rpm) and a 40mm 2 blade prop.
These motors will run on 2 to 4S Lipo batteries.
The sister motor C3542-1450kv has a bit more power and rpm's.

Ive got a brushless motor and speed controller just about upto the job, was going to use it in the mini gunboat hull but that runs so well as it is.
I will bring them with me lakeside Sunday.
