Hi
A good open day this year with no ice, light winds, and a great atmosphere at a friendly gathering.
Many hot sausage rolls consumed made by some of the ladies present followed by mince pies and a good supply of free tea and coffee.
A good number of model boats on sale with prices, end of the season and new projects underway so funds must be raised.
First time on the water for the restored Blue Leopard, very tight in our test pond and wind from all directions but she handled well and looked very elegant, some fine tuning of the rigging to follow then off the the club lake when the weather allows. the T/X had to be prized from the hands of some of the modellers who "had a go". Some new modellers attended and lots of chats and advice given
Great day out and shows the comradeship in the model boat hobby
Regards
Ron
