Bonjour Allan,In theory, you could but to my opinion a blower valve works in the wrong direction and could possibly leak if the pressure raises.
About globe valves, much more concerns because, based on my experience, 99,99 % of them have even very small leaks, and gas allows 0 % leak.
In France, we commonly use manufactured valves as "Legris" ones fo example : https://youtu.be/eez9ACLowcQ
Besides this; my mechanic friends also like using Schrader  valves https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=valves+schrader found on car inner tubes.
Hope that will help you  :-))

Clevedon steam for this sort of thing. Jerry knows his business and will definitely help you out. Do not put the wrong type of valve in a gas line
