What are the most powerful 12v water pumps for model boats use?  Looking at having two project water from 1/72 scale 15” guns

I use windscreen washer pumps through a windscreen nozzle.

You may find some kind of electric fuel pump from a car may be suitable as it would develop a much higher pressure and therefore a mist. As an alternative for simulated gunfire may I direct you to my Iron Duke blog with the firing guns. The gun details are all in the end part along with plans. Its not a difficult system to build and works quite well and you get 70 plus shots from a single 12v 7amphr battery.

Cheers

Fuel pumps aren’t designed for water and will probably rust up. The water pumps used for headlight washers on cars tend to be designed for high flow and higher pressure than windscreen washers, as they’re designed to lightly pressure wash the lens.
