Post by: Trucker on May 21, 2024, 07:40:44 am
Hi, All
ive recently tried my syphon feed cheapo air brush using rattle can paint, sprayed out into the smaller jar, after letting it settle and gases escape i started work, but nothing.. checked that every thing was clear with no blockages etc, SO, im beginning to wonder am i expecting too much from the syphon brush..

Hi, Andyn
No i didnt thin the paint it seemed quite thin enough, my thinking was its from a spray can, so should be fine, but may be not

Trucker, Cellulose was thinned 50% and it appeared like water. Do not use decanted aerosol paint. Try 50/50 to start with and then you can add a little to one or the other. The pressure should be approx 25/25lb. This one of your constants as the others can be variable. Practice and practice. Nemesis.
