Title: Need help identify a piece on the Jaws Orca

Anybody know for shure what that round piece up on the mast is, looks like a hat :}  but could it be some kind of deck ligth or something?

Hm..if so, should it be on the front of the mast

May be an old incandescent deck lamp.
It appears to be hanging, as opposed to base mounted like a radar.
