Hi,

Wondering if anyone has built the smaller 22"/56cm Smit Netherland.

Sarick hobbies has the plans with the option of an ABS hull.

hi Phil


I don't know if you are aware, but, there was an article in the Model Boats magazine (February 1988).  This was a free issue plan/article to build by David Metcalf.


I suppose, if you have a look on Ebay or Magazine Exchange - you may be able to pic the magazine up.   No doubt someone on this forum will be able to tell us how long the actual article ran for.


I would imagine it may have ran for 2 or 3 issues.

I saw this great reference info in the site's Gallery section today.

I'm going to go with a base 22" vac-formed hull and give the plans a good crack.

Please note, Billing Boats has specified the wrong colour for the deck.
Should be something close to RAL 6001 or 6002
