Liz Milbourn has requested my assistance in the disposal of two of Dave’s boats with the proceeds going to charity. Martin has kindly agreed they can be advertised on here.
The two boats are the 1/12 scale Fairey Huntress and the 1/16 scale Fairey Huntsman. Both have been published as feature plans in Model Boats magazine. Needless to say, they are built to a very high standard with far more fine detail than the kits and from Liz’s photos, fully fitted out and ready to run with the exception of the LiPo batteries. Both models are fitted with three bladed cast bronze propellers from Prop Shop.
Dave was renowned for his interest in and connection with Fairey Marine going back decades and this is a unique opportunity to acquire examples of his exceptional design and modelling skills in reproducing these iconic boats. They are truly collector’s models.

absolutely beautiful models, and DAVE was an unsung master at his modelling skills, and also a good friend.
I hope they raise very good money for those charities, and hope the person who purchaces them treasures and cherrishes these unique models due to their authenticity.
