Hi new here as been searching for info to build a Fairey Huntsman, I have brought a 34 inch hull which I am lead to believe is the old President 34 inch one but not currently able to find the correct plans to build this. I had hoped that I could use the the Spearfish plans which I have brought but the beam of the boat is very different so not going down the route to find the Huntsman plans. would any one know where I might get a copy happy to buy these and any copy of the build would be a help as well.
If not I will do a custom build based on the plans I have and adjust the plans to suit the hull. any help would be great.

The instructions that came with the kit (either size) give you a wordy description and a parts layout drawing but nothing you could use to create new bulkheads and superstructure I'm afraid...
Managed to scan and send you copies of the ones that came with my kit...best of luck!

Ian - if you PM me your email I'll be able to help you as I've produced my own drawings etc. for a number of Faireys including the Huntsman 31.
Mine are all timber though and I don't have drawings of the frames for the fibreglass hulls but they are not too difficult to fabricate.
There was a nice build by another member using the fibreglass hull which will help you. I'll post details once I've located it.

Build was Hunters Moon by radiojoe on Page 4 of Sports, Pleasurecraft etc.
Interesting what you say about the beam being different as my understanding for the full-size boats is that the Spearfish hull is basically the same as the H31 but in fibreglass rather than timber. Are the drawings you have for the MFA Spearfish model?
The Spearfish is similar to the H31 Sport which was built for racing and I think looks great and shows off the sleek hull. I started building one but then decided as I'd got a number of full cockpit models to change it to the more common aft cabin version. Here is my side view of the H31 Sport.

Thanks for the info I have seen and read the build including saving the images as I know these will help me during my build.

The plan from the master class build could maybe be available from https://www.sarikhobbies.com

That's for the Swordsman. He's sorted now.
