A query for all the electronic wizards please. Currently building a Trumpeter USS Missouri (1:200) with 4 driven props - am I better driving each “pair” (port & starboard) of motors from a single ESC or individual ESC per motor (brushed 280/5’s)?
Keeping in mind there is likely to be a small difference in loading as the two inner props are 5 bladed and 2 outers are 4 bladed. All ESC will be controlled by a mixer which adds to the wiring complexity but no problems for me.
My query relates to whether there could be a problem with current draw as the inner motors “may” draw more than the outers so the “balance” between each pair won’t be the same - what effect could that have or am I worrying too much about not a lot?!
Cheers - Bruce

Tasked to do this for anyone, I would do it with a single 16 amp dual mixing esc.
Specifically, the smaller brother of this one. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005376657723.html (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005376657723.html)
You have not specified an operating voltage.

Hi Stan - many thanks for the photos and confirmation, puts my mind at ease (not to mention my wallet!).
Is that Yamato next to Missouri as that’s my next build once Big Mo is completed, if so that shows me the way to go with the motors etc (even more room to play with!!).
