Title: 40mhz Tx/Rx
Post by: Bustergrunt on May 26, 2025, 10:24:56 am
Are these still desirable things? A deceased estate has provided me with 2 transmitters and Receivers (Futaba and Acoms), however I am unaware if these are still of use, unless it would be for submarines…
Advice would be gratefully received

Hi I have so many 27Mhtz and 40 Mhtz AM and FM that I still use my ones all the time.  There is no problem over using them, hardly any clashes over frequencies either.

Thank you for such a rapid reply . I asked because I'm potentially in the market for an F14 . Good luck with your sale.

Hi again most of the 40Mhtz 2 ch. sets are AM.  Can you see from the crystal whether it says AM or FM?
